G785 interfacing is the creme de la creme of interfacings as far as I am concerned, this fine lightweight, gossamer woven interlining is made from synthetic fibres.
Perfect for fusing onto small parts of blouses, dresses, tops and jackets. Suitable for very light weight, transparent and sensitive fabrics, also if you are making a box "Chanel" type jacket from an open weave tweed use this on every part of the jacket, it will give the fabric body and hold it all together when you are working on the garment. This is the only interfacing that I know stays on fine silk fabric without altering the drape and feel of the fabric.
Apply to fabric by pressing the iron on step by step for about 8 seconds, a damp cloth will assist this process, do not push the iron. Allow the item to cool down then lift to your ear and gently pull at the fabric if you hear a cracking noise then interfacing needs more heat to adhere to the fabric.
