Polyester is a lightweight fabric that is quite transparent but has more coverage than chiffon. Suitable for garments that are quite full and flowing with minimum seams and darts. Tip...When sewing it is a good idea to hold the bottom and the top threads when starting the seam.
Sew using a microtex needle 60 or 70 with a stitch length of 2-2.5mm, preferably sewing a french seam. For interfacing use silk organza or G785 which is soft lightweight iron-on woven interfacing. Press using a cloth, a silk organza cloth is your best friend with this type of fabric.
All polyesters are machine washable on a warm wash and do not over dry in a tumble dryer, would be better to air dry to prevent static build up, iron on a cooler setting.
