Polyester crepe has a crinkly surface which can come in different weights, can be used for a wide variety of garments, it is hard wearing and does not lose its shape, it will fray so would benefit from overlocking or zig zag stitch the edges. Tip ...when pressing place a folded piece of paper between the seam and the main fabric to prevent indentation of the stitches showing through, (especially if you have used an overlocker) onto the surface of the main fabric. Use a pressing cloth, preferable silk organza, as with all polyester fabrics they do burn easily if the iron is not on the correct setting but will also "shine" if too warm iron is used. Machine wash on a warm , not hot, wash and avoid overdrying in the tumble dryer as it can cause the fibres to become very static, so always use an antistatic lining.

Sew with a universal needle 80/12, stitch length 2.5-3mm, use either a sew-in interfacing or G785 which is a slightly elastic woven interfacing which will adhere to the textured surface, not effecting the drape or flow of the fabric.
