Close knit fabrics drapes well for t-shirts, dresses,casual wear. Prewash on a 30 degree wash before cutting out fabric, dry flat and do not tumble dry as this can cause static, using fabric softener will help
Sew with a ball point needle using either a small zig zag (2.5mm length, 0.5mm width) or a stretch stitch. Tip...if the seam is wavy lengthen your stitch, if the seam is puckering then shorten your stitch.Insert cotton tape into seams that are not intended to stretch, for example the shoulder seams. Use a 4mm twin stretch needle to hem the garment, allow the garment to hang for a few hours before hemming or you can stabalise the hem with a strip of interfacing or Steam-a-seam fusing tape.
